I always told myself that I would never take a wedding on my birthday BUTTTT when my good friend and fellow photographer, Amber, told me that her friend was getting married on my birthday and wanted me to shoot it, I HAD to take it! Plus…she told it was going to be gorgeous and she was way right!!! I first met Brittany and David when the flew me up to Boston (where they live) to take their engagement photos and I instantly fell in love with them and their sweet, fun and bubbly personalities!! They got married on September 23 (I will never forget their anniversary) in the beautiful mountains of Asheville at The Ridge with their reception at The Venue in downtown Asheville and I loved everything about it!! One of my favorite parts of the day was when we did their first look and we took David to his spot while Brittany was still tucked away inside and the entire time David walked with his hands over his eyes just in case there was a chance he might see her accidentally before their official first look..it was adorable! Brittany and David are naturals in front of the camera and I think it is pretty evident how happy they were to marry one another because you can definitely see the joy on their faces! Brittany and David…thank you soooo much for trusting me to capture your gorgeous wedding day..there was no other way I would have rather spent my birthday!!
