I met Amanda and Josh for their engagement session at the WRAL Azalea Garden and I was sooo excited because I had never shot there before and oh my goodness I LOVED it! There was beautiful light at the gardens and a beautiful couple and their whole session was just perfect!! Amanda and Josh met in 2010 at UNCW when they were both freshman. Their very first college course was 8am Freshman Seminar which was just an easy get to know campus, get involved, make new friends kind of class. One of their requirements was to attend so many campus events for class credit and Amanda had decided to go to a Jazz concert as one of her events and so while she was in class, she mentioned that she was going and to see if anyone else wanted to go with her for credit and that afternoon, she got an email from Josh saying that he wanted to go with her and the rest is history. After 4 years at UNCW together, Josh was accepted to Law School at LSU and after much discussion with their families, they both decided to move to Louisiana so Josh could attend Law School. After 3 years in Louisiana, they moved back to NC the day after Josh graduated and could not be happier to be back in NC. And now here they are…4 years at UNCW, 3 years in Louisiana, and 2 cats later they are getting married this summer at Rose Hill Plantation and I CANNOT wait to photograph their wedding!!!
