Wedding

If you have been following my life these last several months, you would know that in June of this last year, I picked up my entire life and moved from Southern California to North Carolina. And although I miss my family sooo incredibly much, I do not regret moving at all. One thing that has helped making this process a little easier is knowing that my family is just a plane trip away. Granted that might be a longggg, expensive plane trip but it is reassuring knowing that if I ever need to see them, I can just hop on a plane and come home. What is also nice is booking weddings back in California which give me a guaranteed reason to come home. I would never pass on an opportunity to shoot a wedding AND come home to see my family and that is why I am sooo thankful Allison and Jeremy choose me to photograph their wedding this past December (amongst other reasons). Allison and I have been good friends since seventh grade when we played on the same volleyball team at our junior high and have never stop being friends ever since. Even when I moved away and went to school in Arkansas, we remained friends and got together every time I came home. I have known Jeremy for quite awhile also as he went to high school with us and was in the same group of friends that always hung out. Although him and Allison never dated in high school, they realized how perfect they were for each other after we graduated. Allison had always told me she wanted me to photograph her wedding and I was soo excited when she got engaged (which I was able to capture by the way) and she asked me to be their photographer. They got married over Thanksgiving weekend which worked out perfectly for me because I was able to go home and spend Thanksgiving with my family. I loved being able to be apart of their big day and was even able to break away from my camera for a little to dance it up on the dance floor with Allison while my awesome second shooter, my sister Nicole, was able to keep the shooting going! Thanks for letting me be apart of your day Allison and Jeremy and I wish you two the absolute best!vellano wedding photo
