I have always wanted to do a styled shoot and when Katie of Pearls and Lace Wedding approached me about being the photographer for one she was planning..I jumped on the opportunity! For those of you who do not know..Styled Shoots are put together but all different wedding vendors who come together with a vision and donate their time and talent to create something beautiful and oh boy did we create something magical! This shoot was back in October at The Bennett Bunn Plantation on a VERY windy day which made it difficult to do some of the detail work as they kept wanting to fly away! Luckily, I had two of my good friends from California in town and they became my trusty assistants and we taped things down and did our best to have things not get knocked down and blow away. Our models were a married couple and oh.my.gosh. they were wonderful and not to mention drop dead gorgeous!! I could not be happier with how everything turned out and thank you to all of the amazzzzing vendors for coming together and creating such a beautiful vision! This shoot was recently featured on 100 Layer Cake and I had to wait to share my own images from it and so excited that I can finally share my images!!
Sometimes horses sneak up on you and take your boutonnière and you just have to let it happen and be okay with it!
