Back in October, I was able to travel down to the ever so beautiful New Bern, NC to capture Kari and Nick’s gorgeous wedding at the cutest white church, The First Presbyterian Church, and then their reception at the prettiest little garden, The Isaac Taylor Garden! Kari and Nick did something at their wedding that I had never seen before..they did a Second Line. It is a New Orleans tradition and all of their guests followed in line as Kari and Nick danced down the streets from the wedding cite to their reception site with a Jazz Band following them and it was sooo much fun! Kari and Nick first met at Band Camp so it only made sense for them to incorporate that into their wedding so during their reception, both Kari and Nick got up with the band and played a song for everyone and they did great! From the second line to the streamer filled exit, Kari and Nick’s wedding was a blast!
