It is verrrrry rare, and I mean SUPER rare that I never meet my couple before their wedding. I love to do their engagement session beforehand so they can get comfortable in front of my camera and be comfortable with me but last week, when I showed up from Sam and Josh’s wedding at a beach house they rented in Murrels Inlet, South Carolina, for the week, it was the very first time I had ever met either one of them but they both greeted me with such enthusiasm and joy and it was perfect!! Not only was I a little nervous to be shooting someone I had never met before, but put on top of that, Sam is a photographer herself in Wilmington! I was honored that she thought my work was good enough to be the one to capture her special day and boy was it special!! Minutes before the wedding, the weather decided to give us some rain and cleared up for their ceremony and right as the officiant was pronouncing them husband and wife, it decided to give us just a little more! But with that rain came a double rainbow and I never had the opportunity to photograph a couple with one until this wedding!! Actually, you can say this wedding gave me lots of my first including my first trash the dress sunrise session the next morning AND underwater images..I will let the images do the talking but all I have to say is this photographer is one happy girl!!!
