One of the great things about North Carolina is that you can go to both the mountains and the beach (although I rarely go to either…oops!!) so when Jenna contacted me about her wedding at Gambill Estate in Roaring River, NC I was thrilled. Roaring River is not quite in the mountains yet but it provides beautiful scenery and a gorgeous backdrop!! The entire week up to Jenna and Jon’s wedding, the forecast was showing thunderstorms and I was nervous for them..I do not want any of my couples to have a rainy wedding day and as I was driving up to the venue, I kept checking the weather and the change of thunderstorms were going down and down and I was thrilled! Once I was there, we ended up getting a mini storm that may have lasted a total of 27 seconds and that was it!!! Although it was cloudy for a lot of the day, the sun decided to peak out during dinner so I HAD to grab Jenna and Jon for some sunset pictures and I am soooo glad I did!!! From Jenna and Jon’s sweet vows they recited to one another before their wedding to the completely full dance floor the entire time..their wedding was a blast to be a part of!
