I always take it as the biggest compliment when a past bridesmaid in a wedding I shot, hires me to shoot her own wedding and that is exactly what happened with Lacey. Lacey was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot last August and soon after, she got engaged herself and contacted me about shooting her wedding at Morning Glory Farm in Monroe, NC and I was thrilled! Not only are Lacey and Gray sweet as can be, but they are also soo fun and beautiful to photograph! They got married a couple weekends ago and it was a beautiful day until a little afternoon thunderstorm decided to roll in right when we started taking bridesmaid photos and stayed a little bit longer than we were wanting! But we got Lacey covered and after waiting..and waiting…it cleared out in perfect time for their ceremony! Lacey and Gray chose to write their own vows which is always my favorite and it was soo sweet to hear the promises they made to one another! After the ceremony, they danced the night away under a beautiful white tent with fans (thank goodness) and all of their guests sent them off at the end of the night with some sparkling sparklers!!
