When I think about a southern girl, I think of two different things..cowgirl boots and monograms and that is exactly what Jenn and Trey’s wedding had last weekend at The Rickhouse in Downtown Durham, NC! Jenn and Trey decided to do a first look which always makes my photographer heart happy and right when they went to do their first look, it decided to start sprinkling ever so lightly! Well, once their first look was over and it was time to do entire bridal party, the sky decided to do a little more than sprinkle but luckily we found a giant overhang near by and did some entire bridal party pictures under it and then it stopped raining so we were able to go out and explore to do bridesmaid and groomsmen photos! We then hopped in the bus they rented (which I strongly encourage to every bride who wants to go to different place for their portraits) and headed to The American Tobacco District and what did the sky decided to do? It decided to rain again and not just a soft little sprinkle, it was raining hard!! But Jenn and Trey were troopers and still went out in the rain and we found places where they would not get wet and had her hold her dress because we definitely did not want it to get ruined before the wedding! We then headed back to The Rickhouse and the clouds parted and left us with a beautiful, sunny rest of the day (only in North Carolina!!).
