What I love about my job is the fact that I am able to travel and go back home to California and shoot weddings there! What made this trip home to shoot a wedding extra special was that I was able to bring my one month old son with me so he could meet my family! I shot a wedding in North Carolina on Saturday, hopped on a plane early Sunday morning with my baby, flew into LAX and went straight to Serendipity Gardens to shoot Alicia and David’s wedding! They had a beautiful day and although it was hot, the wind was in full force and helped cool everyone down! Alicia’s older sister, Christina, was my best friend throughout high school so it was sooo fun getting to catch up with her and also be a part of Alicia’s wedding! Alicia and David decided to do a first look and it was soooo sweet! First looks are still some of my favorite to witness and to capture and then bonus is that we get to do sooo many more couple portraits! Alicia and David also let me pull them out during their reception for some sunset portraits and those ended up being some of my favorite! I love love LOVVVE when couples decide to do this and I love that they truly value photography! The night ended with a beautiful sparkler exit and it could not have been more perfect!!
