I really do not think there is anything sweeter than a backyard wedding and that is exactly what Brooke & Paul had this past weekend at Paul’s parents house in Lake Gaston! My favorite part of the day was when Paul and Brooke unburied the bourbon and did a little cheer because although there was a little bit of rain, it never messed up their wedding day and it was perfect!! Paul and Brooke got married at a church right across the border into Virginia and since the person who married them was technically not ordained in Virginia, when we crossed back into the North Carolina border, they did the sweetest, shortest ceremony on the dock of the lake house so they could be officially married!! After their ceremony, they danced the night away under a tent and it made for the perfect evening!!
