I was sooo excited to do Megan and Ryans wedding ever since Megan first reached out to me and I could sense her fun, contagious spirit through email! I was even MORE excited after meeting them for their beautiful sunrise mountain engagement session in a flower field (you definitely want to see that here) and could not wait for the wedding to roll around which was over a year away still! Well there wedding happened and let me just tell you…it did NOT disappoint! Megan and Ryan got married at the ever so gorgeous Fearrington Village in Pittsboro on what seemed like was going to be a rainy, gloomy day! But the weather did not damper Megan’s spirit and she was still all smiles the entire wedding day! They decided to move their wedding to an indoor location just to be safe but as soon as their ceremony started, the clouds parted and then sun came out and gave us THE most gorgeous sun for couple portraits and needless to say I was in photographer heaven!! Megan and Ryan finished the night dancing away with their closest family and friends but first Megan’s dad gave a touching toasts which concluded with a tape of Megan singing at a very young age some good ‘ol Britney Spears and I do not think there was a single person in the reception space who was not laughing, including Megan who was in shock that her dad kept that tape all of the years!
