Lisa and Nick are two of the sweetest souls! After our shoot was rained out a couple different times, we finally met at The NC Art Museum and it was perfect!! Plus Nick and Lisa are just wonderful to be around and sooo easy to photograph!! They met during their Junior year of college in 2011 at Loyola University Maryland where they sat next to each other in a marketing class, where they simply exchanged hello’s throughout the semester. Marketing was Lisa’s major so she, of course, was very attentive during class. Nick, on the other hand, spent the majority of his time on ESPN.com- finance major, ha! The following year, they both had been accepted into a Study Abroad class that met 4x throughout the semester in preparation for a 2-week study tour through Europe at the end of the school year. Still, they had just exchanged hello’s as they got to know the handful of other students who would be traveling with them that summer. May 2011 approached, and Lisa, Nick, and 30 other students boarded a plane to Munich, Germany knowing that the next two weeks would be a once in a lifetime opportunity with a mission to make absolute most of it. For the next two weeks Nick and Lisa, along with a handful of other students who quickly turned into great friends, traveled through Germany, Austria, France, then Italy and had the time of their lives. Nick and Lisa almost immediately clicked while exploring these cities through day trips, bike rides, group dinners, and nights out. However, it was on the bus ride to Italy (while Nick was busy entertaining the entire group with his jokes) where Lisa realized that he was someone special, someone that she just had to get to know better! That summer, they kept in touch as excited new friends and were anxious to return back to school for their last year before graduating. It didn’t take long before they found themselves not wanting to be apart and truly enjoying each other’s company like they did in Europe. That fall, they started dating, fell in love, and the rest is history! raleigh engagement photographer wedding
