Joy is the best word to describe Shelby and Jake’s wedding day. These two were high school sweethearts and finally tied the knot! Their special day was at The Highgrove Estate in Raleigh, NC.

The day was filled with so many beautiful memories and such a strong sense of family surrounding everything they did. Shelby has a tattoo of her mothers initials on her ankle that was so sweet to see as her mother helped her put her shoes on.

Shelby had her something borrowed, something blue, something old and something new given to her by different family members while she was getting ready. Her something new was a Tiffany’s bracelet (also her something blue) given to her by her father. There were no dry eyes during these moments.

Shleby and Jake chose a first look so they could have an intimate moment together. It was full of smiles and laughter and Jake’s face just lit up. When Shelby walked down the aisle Jake still got filled with emotion seeing his bride walking toward him as if he was seeing her again for the first time.

During the mother son dance, Jakes father cut in and started dancing with his mother. Jake went and grabbed his sister onto the dance floor and the four of them danced together. Everyone was filled with tears. Jake planned this ahead of time as a surprise to his mom and sister. Shelby jumped in with them making such a sweet moment as one big family.
