I had been looking forward to this sweet wedding for so long and was soo happy when it finally arrived and Katelyn and Duncan got the most beautiful day at Walnut Hill in Raleigh, NC! Their day started with a first look between the two of them that was full of sweet smiles and giggles and then the day continued on and we were ahead of schedule the entire tire which if you know anything about weddings, is a super weird and unusual thing to happen but I love when it does happen because my couples are able to spend more quality time with just one another talking and taking in the day instead of rushing around taking pictures. Katelyn and Duncan got married with the pond in the background and had the cutest flower girl walk down the aisle and pick back up every single flower that was put down because she was “cleaning up” and I just love when flower girls bring laughter to everyone! After their ceremony, we were able to sneak in some more sunset couple portraits before heading to the reception where Katelyn’s dads love for ice cream was put to the test and Katelyn served him some soft serve ice cream straight from the machine! I am so happy that I was able to be a part of such a wonderful wedding day!
