Goodness gracious this wedding. After having to change their original wedding date last summer to this spring because of Covid, Jess and Rob officially tied the knot (for the second time) and it was perfect! Jess and Rob decided they wanted to get married on their original wedding date which was last July and I got to photograph that small, intimate elopement and then soon after they told me they moved their new date to March 13, I found out I was pregnant and was going to be 39 weeks pregnant for their wedding! I gave them some different options and asked if they wanted me still or wanted an associate and they said that if I was able to make it, they would love to have me so that was the plan! But as many of you know, plans do not always go as planned so I ended up having my baby 3 weeks early which means I was no longer going to be pregnant for their wedding but instead, be 2 weeks post partum but I was up for the challenge! I could not have asked for a sweeter, easier going couple then Rob and Jess and anytime I or anyone through a little hiccup in their original plan, they took it with ease and grace and made the perfect couple! I was looking forward to shooting their wedding because I knew it would be a fun day and boy did it not disappoint. When I first arrived, all the boys were outside throwing the football around while the girls were finishing up their last minute touch ups for hair and make up. Jess decided she wanted to do a first look with her bridesmaids and their reactions were soo genuine and sweet! The best part of the day was when Rob went to help Jess with her dress during family photos and literally ripped his pants down the seem in the back and had everyone laughing so hard! He contemplated changing pants but then decided not to and I am so glad he did not because those are the little memories you want to look back and laugh on and remember forever! Jess and Rob were sweet enough to let me dip out of there after their first dances at the reception and let my associates take over so I could go home and be with my little newborn and I loved looking through the remainder of the images from the night and they did not disappoint! I knew that it was going to be a fun reception and it sure looked like it! Jess and Rob, thank YOU for being amazing throughout this entire process and for being so easy going..I could not have asked for a better couple and I wish you two nothing but the best!!
