After dealing with the normal Covid issues, Alayna and Tyler were finally married at The Historic Wakefield Barn in Raleigh, NC in the beginning of June and it was worth the wait!! After taking the summer off two years ago and then not shooting much in the summer last year due to Covid, I was reminded on their wedding day how hot and humid North Carolina summers get BUT it did not rain (although it did alllll day the day before and into the morning), so I call that a win!! Alayna and Tyler compliment each other so well and you can really see them light up around one another and although Tyler absolutely hattteeesss photos, he put on a happy face for his bride and took some photos..in record time by the way! Alayna and Tyler decided to get a tent outside the barn sine the chance of rain was originally high on their wedding day and they wanted their guests to be able to enjoy being outside! So after the initial formal dances and dinner was served, everyone headed outside to enjoy the evening and I was able to sneak some sunset photos of Alayna and Tyler since it decided to peak out for just a pit at the end of the night and it was the perfect way to end the evening before I left and let them enjoy the rest of their evening, photography free 🙂
