Joy. That is the word I would use to describe this day! Everything felt so joyful and I found myself just smiling as I walked around the wedding the entire day! Cindy and Tom got married at the beautiful High Grove Estate in Fuquay Varina on a TUESDAY and I loved it! They decided to have a “micro” wedding and downsized from the original wedding they were having and just had about 30 guests and I loved the intimacy of it! I got an email from Cindy about a week before the wedding talking about the weather and the chance of rain and then as it got closer, we continued to talk about the chance of rain and if she should get a tent or not! The night before the wedding, I was told she was going to do the tent and then got a text the next morning that they made a game day decision and decided to ditch the tent even though the chance of rain was VERY high for their wedding! As I pulled up to The High Grove, it was POURING rain and there were puddles everywhere and I could not even get out of my car because it was so raining so hard BUT it finally slowed down and then ended up stopping all together in time for their ceremony AND THEN we got the prettiest sun for couple portraits after their wedding and I honestly could not even believe it!!! I was SOO honored to capture this joyful and romantic wedding and loved every moment of it!!
