When you have a February wedding in North Carolina, you never know what you might get..it might be a freezing cold snow day or it might be a warm 70 degree sunny day…this past weekend, Kristina and Jeff got THE perfect day! I first arrived at the ever so gorgeous Washington Duke Inn in Durham, NC where both Kristina and her bridesmaids, and Jeff and his groomsmen were getting ready! I walked in and was instantly greeted with a big hug and was handed the details to start shooting (my favorite)!! Jeff and Kristina decided not to do a first look but exchanged sweet letters and gifts and I have to say..what Kristina got Jeff was one of the coolest gifts I have seen..Converse Black Patent Leather Hi Top Sneakers so that Jeff could be comfortable for the reception and match Kristina’s mint converse shoes! Kristina and Jeff got married at Trinity United Methodist Church in downtown Durham and we then headed back to Washington Duke Inn to do all the portraits and the bridal party was a blast and knew how to have a good time! They then had their reception at The Cotton Room and the exposed brick and white drapery was a photographers dream!!! Kristina and Jeff’s reception was full of laughter and fun from the bridal party dancing to the sparkler exit at the end of the night! I am sooo happy that I was able to be a part of such a gorgeous wedding day!!
